A collection of labs completed during my Intro to Electronics course. Each entry can include a short explanation of the goal, the circuit or setup, the results, and photos of the work.
This lab introduced the breadboard and basic circuit connections. I assembled a simple circuit and checked how the components and connections worked together.
I used a multimeter to measure voltage and current in a circuit, practicing how to choose the correct meter setting and where to connect the probes.
This lab explored the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance. I compared measurements with the values predicted by Ohm’s law.
I built a series circuit and investigated how the components shared voltage and how the circuit behaved when its connections or components changed.
This lab focused on parallel connections and how adding separate paths affects current and the behavior of components in the circuit.
I wired an LED circuit and examined the importance of LED polarity and a current-limiting resistor when connecting an LED to a power source.
I used switches to control when a circuit was open or closed, testing how the input changed whether current could flow through the circuit.
This lab explored how logic inputs determine an output. I tested different input combinations and compared the circuit’s behavior with the expected results.
I investigated how a capacitor stores and releases electrical energy and observed how charging and discharging can make a circuit’s behavior change over time.
For this lab, I assembled and tested a circuit, checked its connections, and used a step-by-step process to identify and fix problems that affected its operation.
